About Yoga in the Greenhouse at Green Gardens Community Farm in Battle Creek

We’re thrilled to provide our community with a beautiful, relaxing spot to practice yoga near Marshall, MI.

WHEN: Starting Monday, May 13, at 6 PM. Every Monday at 6 PM - 7 PM until October except Memorial Day & Labor Day.

WHERE: Here at Green Gardens Community Farm - 14201 H Dr North, Battle Creek, MI 49014

FACILITIES: Yoga meets in our beautiful event Greenhouse - just follow the pathway behind the Red Barn. The space is not air conditioned, but even on hot days, it stays comfortable in our specially designed Greenhouse! On cool days, we keep the Greenhouse cozy, too.

COST: $10/class or 10 classes for $80. Paid upon entry. No preregistration needed. Your First Class is FREE!

EXPERIENCE & GEAR: All experience levels invited. Please bring a mat and blanket. We have a few to share if you need to borrow equipment. Questions? Contact our yoga instructor, Vanessa.

About Vanessa:

Vanessa is a Yoga Alliance certified 200 hour teacher. She completed her certification at Intentional Yoga in Kalamazoo, Michigan based on Hatha, Vinyasa, Hot Yoga, and Yin styles-for which she has a soft spot in her heart. She teachers to all age groups and capabilities. Vanessa currently teaches in Marshall at Villa on Verona, a local Bed and Breakfast, at the Marshall Recreation Department to kids and teens, as well as holds warm weather outdoor yoga sessions at various sites within Marshall in addition to teaching Yoga at Green Gardens. Vanessa is also adapt in providing one on one sessions, workshops, or private group practice for a catered experience. She strives to provide an environment conducive to mindfulness and a transformational experience with each practice. Vanessa believes yoga is about liberation of the mind and body through movement paired with breath and attunement to ourselves within.
